Position:

Application and System Engineer for Customer Support

Location:

Yokneam, Israel

Description:

Providing high-level technical support for customers using our products worldwide. The position is open to R&D engineers that are interested in entering the field of post sales support.

The position includes independent problem solving for highly complex devices and systems. In addition, the writing of technical documentation and the presentation of training sessions to our customers.

Qualifications:
  • B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a leading technical university
  • Professional skills required:
    • 2 years R&D experience in board design.
    • Excellent English skills (verbal and written).
    • Willingness to travel overseas.
  • Knowledge and/or experience is advantageous:
    • 3 years R&D experience developing networking products such as bridges, switches or routers.
    • Experience in working with programmable devices such as ASICs, FPGAs, NPUs or controllers.
    • Understanding of real-time software and the interface between applications and drivers.
    • Understanding of Linux and VxWorks operating systems.
  • Personal skills required:
    • System level understanding and problem solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years relevant work experience including:
    • ASIC/FPGA design
    • Verilog/VHDL programming
    • All stages of chip design and/or verification
    • Experience in networking as well as an understanding of communications protocols, such as TCP/IP

System Validation Engineer

Location:

Description:

For designing and implementing test methodologies for pre-silicon and post-silicon verification of our network processors. Requires independent learning of complex new technologies and components as well as industry standards. Involves programming of synthesis tools in C/C++/assembler and their environments. Position is in the Systems Team in the R&D Department.

Qualifications:
  • B.Sc. Electrical Engineering & Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, from a leading technical university.
  • Professional skills required:
    • Knowledge and experience in programming in C and assembler.
    • Background in hardware.
  • Knowledge and/or experience is advantageous:
    • Relevant experience in system validation.
    • Scripting languages, such as Tcl and Perl.
    • Knowledge and experience in real-time programming in C++.
    • Knowledge and experience in networking.
  • Personal skills recommended:
    • System level understanding for our highly complex device.
    • Ability to learn quickly and independently.
    • Analytical problem solving skills for problems with numerous variables and unknowns.
    • Precise and methodical work.

Position:

Experienced Microcode Engineer

Location:

Yokneam, Israel

Description:

For developing networking applications to run on our high-performance network processors using our toolsets. This may include either generic application code to be provided as sample code or customer code developed for a specific application. The position includes:

 
  • Assisting customers in the development of their microcode applications.
  • Performing detailed analyses of specific customer applications and proposing implementations.
  • Performing software implementation and testing on hardware reference platforms.
Qualifications:
  • Professional skills required:
    • B.Sc. in Computer Science from a leading technical university.
    • At least 2 years programming experience in:
      • Real time, PSOS and VxWorks
      • Microcode, C and assembler
      • Writing metro and Layer 2-3 application
  • Experience in working with hardware (FPGA) or network processors is advantageous.
  • The positions requires:
    • Efficient planning skills including system-level understanding.
    • Strong programming skills.
